Argentine midfielder Angel Di Maria has finally completed his medical with French Champions PSG in a deal of £44.3m after a disappointing season at Old Trafford.
Di Maria spent just a season with the Manchester United who paid Real Madrid a whopping £59.7m for his services. He looked good and exciting in his first games played but those scintillating displays were gone too soon as and lost form and became plague with injuries. He went on to score four goals in 32 games for United.
Di Maria was allowed by United to fly to Qatar where he had a medical at Aspetar, a specialist sports hospital in Doha on Tuesday.
The 27 year old Argentine midfielder was quoted as saying; "I am very happy to join PSG. What I know about PSG is that it is a team that won all the possible trophies in France last season," Di Maria was quoted as saying by BeIN Sports.
"This is very important for the club. I also know that I want to overcome the obstacle that is the quarter-finals of the Champions League. I am going to try to bring the best of my abilities to put myself at the service of this team. We are going to try and go as far as possible in the Champions League."
