Ruthless Spanish and Uefa Champions league winners Barcelona tore Roma apart in Camp Nou, by beating Roma 6-1.

It was Luis Suarez who opened the scoring through a cross from Neymar in the 15th minute. Luis Suarez three minutes later played a ball over the top to Lionel Messi who chipped the ball in.

Luis Suarez was on the scoring sheet again just before half time to make it 3-0.

At second half, Pique, Lionel Messi  and Adriano was on the score sheet to make it 6-0. Adriano scored in the 77th minute as he followed a missed penalty by Neymar with a strike.

Regardless of the finishing results of their remaining matches, Barcelona have already emerge winners of Group E.

The Gunners 'Arsenal', restored hope with a win over Dynamo Zagreb. Two goals from Alexis Sanchez who opened the game with an assist to Mesut Ozil in the 29th with a low header diving the give Arsenal the boost.

The Gunners later rattled two more goals, through workaholic Alexis Sanchez as the game ended 3-0 in favour of the Arsenal who needed Bayern Munich to win. Bayern did win with an unreplied 4-0 win over Olympiakos to top the Group F.

Brazilian Douglas Costa opened the scoring eight minutes into the game, Lewandoski, Thomas Muller and Coman capped the scoring for Bayern.

Arsenal needs to win their remaining two matches to ensure advancing to the round of 16.

London side  Chelsea who looked blunt at the first 45 minutes, put four past Maccabi Tel Aviv. Gary Cahill opened the scoring in the 20 minutes, followed by a freekick from William in the second half, header from Oscar by a fine cross from Baba Rahman, and substitute Kurt Zuma who replaced injured John Terry made it 4-0 after a corner cross from Oscar.

Chelsea are currently levelled on point(10 points) with Porto who were leading the Group prior to this match. Porto missed an opportunity to gain advantage of the Group as they fell embarrassingly 2-0 at home to Dynamo Kiev.
