HEALTH NEWS: Tulsi Chanrai Foundation Donates Immunisation Kits worth N2m to CRSG -S.A., Community Health

Information reaching our Health Desk from the Department of Community and Primary Healthcare reveals that Governor Ayade's transformational policies and the tenacity of the Special Adviser(Community & Primary Health Care) to the governor, Dr Betta Edu has attracted a donation of Adverse Effect Following Immunisation (AEFI) kits worth 2 million Naira From Tulsi Chanrai Foundation and BEZ Pharmacy for 2016 measles Immunization campaigns in Cross River State.

According to the Personal Assistant (Media and Publicity) to the Special Adviser, Charles Ekanem, these kits are to support measles Immunization campaign. Dr Rajesh (The Director, Tulsi Chanrai Foundation) and his colleagues Dr. Khaliq, Dr. Arun and Mr. Richard handed over the kits to the S.A Dr. Betta Edu. They pledge to extend continued support to the programme and hope that their partnership would make a difference in strengthening primary health care in the state.

The Special Adviser thanked  Tulsi Chanrai Foundation and their entire team for the support rendered to the state measles immunisation exercise and primary health care in the state.
