It will interest the reader to discover that until now, President Muhammadu Buhari had three media aides; he just added the fourth one. Below are their names:
1.Bashir Ahmad – Personal Assistant on New Media.
2. Garba Shehu – Senior Special Assistant (Media & Publicity).
3. Femi Adesina – Special Adviser (Media & Publicity).
4. Tolu Ogunlesi – Special Assistant (Digital & New Media)
However, the President doesn't have a Chief Economic Adviser! There may be a connect between this trend with the failing Naira. Who is advising Mr. President on economic issues? None! This compelled Sen. Ben Murray-Bruce to respond thus: 'I congratulate President Buhari on the appointment of his fourth media aide. But let me add that if Mr. President had as many economic advisers as he does media advisers, our economy would definitely have been better for it'.
It's therefore obvious that both the APC and President Muhammadu Buhari are interested more in propaganda than truth. Besides, the idea that PMB in his so called Budget of Change voted much more to Ministry of Information than the Ministry of Agriculture lend more credence to the penultimate supposition.
