In his weekly Monday Bible Study of 22 February 2016, Pst. W. F. Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry cautioned against reading some Christian publications especially those of the Christian religious sect referred to as Jehovah's Witnesses.

The 76 years old revered man of God and spiritual leader of the Deeper Life Bible Church, in the almost 90 minutes teaching on the topic: 'The Danger and Deception of Antichrist in the Last Days', particularly warned that: 'You don't need Watch Tower'. Kumuyi without mincing words justified this by reading from the Holy Writ of Christians thus:
'But ye have an auction from the Holy One, and ye know all things…But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him' (I John 2:20-27).

Watch Tower is the monthly publication of Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York Inc., the publisher of Jehovah Witnesses. This publication is wont to, amongst other things, tell you about the end of the world and events that they, interpreting from the Bible, believe will come to pass. They tell you such things about Armageddon, that is, the Biblically foretold world war perceived to be the Third World War.

In advising his devotees on the needlessness of such teachings from what ever religious sect however the fact that it had a Christian label hanging around it, and seeing that the respected preacher was talking about 'The Danger and Deception of Antichrist in the Last Days', it was obvious Kumuyi referred to our time as 'the last days' and more importantly, the Jehovah's Witnesses as antichrist, thus 'you don't need Watch Tower'. Do you agree with William Kumuyi on this?
