As you can see, the above cliche is attributed to DC Enamhe. He made it to Peter Offem Ubi. It is reminiscent of the fact that DC, being an ardent and leading supporter of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state, was supposed to translate the ideologies and policies of the PDP into concrete realities via occupying strategic position(s).
However, in the present state administration as led by Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade, this strategic position was not forth coming. And it was becoming a thing of concern for both DC, and his numerous fans. He was initially appointed into the board of Cross River State Scrap Metal Regulatory Agency, an appointment that was berated profoundly so much so that the dogged Ayade found wisdom in reassigning DC into another role perceived to be reputable for a politician of his stature.
Nevertheless, DC had hope in being appointed and he embodied his faith in the quote: 'My own na my own and your own na you own'. Actually, 'DC own na him own and another person own go be that person own'. Today, the man Dr. Barr. Dorncklaimz Enamhe is the incumbent Senior Special Adviser (SSA) to the Executive Governor of Cross River State on Communication and Branding.
I wish to encourage all those who are experiencing one or two challenges in whatsoever sphere of life to still hold fort, for 'where there is still life, there is hope' so says the Efik of Calabar. Congratulations to Dr. Barr. Dorncklaimz Enamhe. On behalf of the management and staff of Negroid Haven I say a big congratulations and pray that you use this office to the greater good of Cross Riverians and humanity at large.
