Reliable report from Government House Press suggest that Governor Ben Ayade has approved the immediate and permanent employment of 30 lawyers into the state Ministry of Justice.

Further investigation by Negroidhaven.org (Negroid Haven) has it that the Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of the state, Barr. Joseph Abang, had requested for no lesser than 50 lawyers to be employed but His Excellency approved a little above half of that request, that is, 30. It is even insinuated that political bigwigs in the state are understood to be fighting for 'employment slot' for the 30 lawyers employment approval.

In the course of the event of commissioning of an e-library for the Ministry of Justice, Governor Ayade commended the staff of the Ministry for their commendable approach to litigation in and out of the state. He particularly noted the approach of the Commissioner for Justice who is reported to go personally go to court during litigation involving the state. In his words, 'For the Chief Justice of the Federation to confess that he was impressed to see the number one lawyer of the state going to court himself is quite exemplary and I really commend the Attorney General for the leadership he has shown since his assumption of office', the governor's media aides reported.

Again, Negroidhaven.org wants to discountenance the information making the rounds, especially on social media circles, by which Cross Riverians have been made to believe that the Executive Governor of Cross River State commissioned an 'ultra modern E-Library for the state Ministry of Justice'. On the contrary, investigation reveals that the governor did no such thing except that it could be said that Ayade commissioned a Law Library for the ministry having approved a particular amount that allowed for the upgrading of the Law Library with Law Reports from 2012 to date.

My source has it that the e-library had always been there. That, even after the commissioning, there is no subscription for bandwidth. So, what makes it an e-library? Even reports from the Special Assistants to the Governor corroborate my findings. In the photo shot accompanying the report, the governor is only seen in the said library standing in front of a table and observing a set of books, which are the Law Reports recently bought by the Ministry. He was not seen in a computer laboratory stacked with electronic and electrical appliances of sundry types etc
