Guilty Conscience seems to be hurting the Management of Zenith Bank PLC on their complete denial of funding the Ekiti state's Governor.

The facts are now speaking for themselves.

You would recall that we published an article titled:

Between The Trio Of Gov.Fayose, Buhari's EFCC and Zenith Bank,  Who is Lying? See details in:

http://www.negroidhaven.org/2016/06/re-between-trio-of-gov-fayose-buharis.html

In that publication, I laboured to appeal to the rationality of our teeming readers and the general public that, issues especially in this country of ours need to be critically considered before taking the conclusive leap.

I argued that all things are not real as they seem.  It appears the truth is gradually shooting out itself from where she has been concealed.

NHB  news desk has just garnered from a reliable source that the management of Zenith Bank Plc in an attempt to get rid of the guilt in their heart which to my mind could be likened to the Biblical Simon Peter's Denial of Christ especially when it mattered most, did secretly send a two man managerial team to make peace with Gov. Fayose of Ekiti state for having denied him when it mattered most and for cooking up lies to the EFCC.

What follows would shock you! It is a report from the stable of the SA to the  Ekiti Governor on Public Communications & New Media, Mr. Lere Olayinka., It reads:

'A management team from Zenith Bank Plc visited Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, over the involvement of the bank in the funding of the June 21, 2014 governorship election of the governor.

Their visit to the governor followed a reported denial by the bank that it was not part of the funding of the election.

The team was led by an Executive Director, Sola Oladipo. It also had two zonal directors of the bank and the Ado-Ekiti branch manager.

When accosted by newsmen, the Executive Director said they only came to see the governor.

Asked whether the bank really dissociated itself from the claim by the governor that it was part of the funding of the election, Shola could only mutter some inaudible words.

He eventually said the spokesman for the bank was not on the team and could not say anything.

While commenting on the development, Governor Fayose said the bank officials came to beg him over the issue.

In Gov. Fayose's words:

"They were begging me and that the matter should not go beyond this level. I asked them why did they go to the EFCC to tell lies.

Why did they have to lie that money came from the Office of the National Security Adviser? If the money is for me why did they have to link with me what is not."

Reactions:

You would wonder why on earth people would concede to tarnish other people's reputation in whatever guise and then later come to beg for pardon.

What does Barr. Joseph Odok have to say to this latest  development? I call him to task.
