It is a case of the EFCC's Symbolic Eagle against the decorated Eagle of the incumbent Air Vice Marshal Ojuawo, who is a serving officer of the Nigerian Air force.
NHB garnered that the Air Marshal is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission over count charges of Fraud.
Our source argues that he flew into the FCT High Court, in Abuja ,this morning in his "7/7" Air force uniform.
The Air Marshal's seems to be unperturbed by the charges leveled against him as indicated in his appearance.
We are however reminded of Mr president's earlier assertion in which he was quoted as saying that:
"…we will not touch anybody that did not touch public funds. If you behave yourself, you'll sleep soundly, your families will enjoy respect. But if you have short-changed the treasury, you will be caught and you’ll have your day in court."
What then would be the fate of Mr Ojuawo, the vice Air Marshal? We leave the Court to decide.
Details of the Court Ruling will be brought to fore as they emerge.
