The picture you are seeing is disheartening. It is sad to know that the life of this young female corp member has been lost to the cold hands of death in this terrible accident.
What was her crime? Nothing but serving her Fatherland!
According to our source, this gruesome accident occurred yesterday some where along Aka Etinan, in Nsit Ibom local government area of Akwa Ibom State.
Eye witness report avers that the female corp member was a passenger, who unfortunately burnt to death in the raging inferno while she struggled to escape with others passengers.
If only she had help.. if only there wasn't a fire..if only the fire fighters arrived at the nick of time.. the story would have changed, as she would still been alive!
Unfortunately, the opposite is the case as she died in that fire. Her identity is yet to be determined as investigation is still on going at the police area command in the local Government.
As at press time, the true cause of the accident is yet to be disclosed. We hope to keep you abreast with details as they unfold.
