Information reaching us from an aide to the Executive Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade, on Youths & Sport, Mr Asu Okang, suggest that after what he described as 'an exhaustive pre-engagement meeting' with the Honourable Minister for Niger Delta Affairs, Pst Usani Uguru Usani, in Abuja, the ministry is very much disposed to support the Cross River State youth multi sectoral programme.

The Niger Delta ministry will, through one of its flagship agency, the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) engage in establishing training centres in the state. This resolution was arrived at after consultations with the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Pst Usani and the Programme Technical Assistant, Dr MacFalan Ejah.

Details on this policy, Cross River State Youth Multi-sectoral Programme and the targeted sectors it intends to support will be communicated as events unfold.
