The former president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has lamented over the recent activities of the Ibrahim Magu led EFCC.
According to him, the agency has as a matter of fact lost her bearing, consequently as a result our dear country seems to be heading towards doom!
Baba while playing host on Wednesday at the Millennium Management Institute in Otta, Ogun State, told news men that the agency is not meant to be used as spokes person for the President of the Federal Republic.
She is not a slave to Mr president as that would be going against the law and the purpose for its creation.
In his words:
"It is ridiculous for the EFCC to be speaking for the president, his party and his family members because, it was not like that in my days".
"The commission should always follow the law while discharging its duties because, the disturbing modus operandi of the EFCC of today is capable of causing serious crisis in the country".
