Information reaching us from a reliable source avers that the fast growing religious Organisation, to wit, Christ Embassy has concluded arrangements to provide food for not less than 30, 000 under-privileged children drawn from three communities in Warri, the capital city of Delta State.

The humanitarian service is a part of the vision of the Warri Zonal Director, under the distinguished leadership of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

It is a part of the Church's annual Inner City Mission Children Food Bank,  which is being sponsored by the Warri zone of the Christ Embassy.

NHB gathered that the scheme which came into existence three years ago, has fed over 60,000 homeless and distressed children across various communities in the Delta state.

Laying credence to Vanguard news Online which quoted the the zonal presiding Pastor Yemi Morakinyo, as saying that the purpose of the initiative is 'to secure and redirect the future of children who have been left uncared for and might have wasted their lives on prostitution, armed robbery and other unwholesome vices'.

He (Pst.Yemi) further argued that aside from the distribution of food to poverty-stricken children in the trio of Igbudu, Iyara, Warri Inland communities, the church was also embarking on family support, back to school initiatives, provision of pipe bore water and provision of public toilets to the communities just to mention a few.

We commend the efforts of the Christ Embassy Ministry in going a step further to exemplify the Christlike life of reaching the Lost by every means possible.
