The FA and Premier League could face a dwindling in their commercial activities as former English referee Mark Harsley has admitted of having been told he never saw an incident by the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) group, the group which oversees all refereeing matters in the English game, and not the Football Association or the Premier League.

This claim is coming after referee Andre Marriner denied of not seeing the elbow of Sergio Aguero on West Ham Winston Reid. The incident after being reviewed by panel of referees has led to three match ban of the Argentine striker, handed on Friday.

Andre Marriner appeared to be looking straight at Aguero and Reid when the incident happened, but the official charge statement from FA said that Marriner "put in his match report that he had not seen what had happened."

Mark Harsley took to his twitter account of having been in such situation when he was told by the (PGMOL), to denied having seen an incidence. He also took to twitter to be precise of whom he refers; He tweeted: "To be Fair to the FA it's not them, it comes from with in the PGMOL."

Halsey refereed in the Premier League for 14 years between 1999 and 2013, as well as being a FIFA listed official for six years.

The FA and PGMOL are yet to respond to Mark Harsley claim, as such statement could set to be detrimental to the integrity and commercial activities of the FA and the Premier League.
