As Nigeria marks her 56th independence day celebration today, amidst harsh economy recession, the Chairman House Committee on Finance and Appropriation, and member representing Yakurr 2 State Constituency in the 8th Cross River State House of Assembly (CRSHA) Rt. Hon. Jones Eteng Williams have felicitated with the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, the Governor of Cross River State Sen. Prof. Benedict Ayade, the Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. John Gaul Lebo as well as all other meaningful Nigerians on the occasion of her 56th independence day celebration.

Rt. Hon. Jones Williams says Nigerians needs a deep sober reflection on the sacrifices our patriotic fallen heroes made 56 years ago for the freedom we enjoy today. And encourages Nigerians to be steadfast, patriotic and prayerful during this celebration.

For him, Nigeria will surely overcome its numerous challenges including insecurity, unemployment, corruption, crime and terrorism, religious and ethnicity.
