World's best player Cristiano Ronaldo was been awarded with a marmot contract extension last week for his consistency and reliability to the club that has promt Madrid to lift two Uefa Champions League trophies in three seasons. The contract extension will see him at Madrid till he is 36 years of age.
Barcelona sport pundit has responded swiftly to their arch rivals decision to offer Ronaldo such a mega huge contract extension at the twilight of his career. Pundit Xavier Ortuno said: "The extension of the contract of Cristiano Ronaldo with Real Madrid until 2021 is a beautiful thing.
"They allowed a Cristiano Ronaldo in the worst period since joining the club to sign a binding agreement at the Santiago Bernabeu until he is 36 years of age.
"For a player whose game is primarily based on the physical, to get an agreement until that age is little more than theft."
