Uefa Champions League holders Real Madrid, are closely monitoring and chasing Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtios, who has been terrific this season for the Blues.

Real Madrid became frustrated and has gave up on Man United goalie David De Gea, whom Man United refused to let go last season. The Spaniard almost left though, with paper works at the last minute became the stale of the deal. De Gea stayed put and has been on fine form so far this season under Jose Mourinho in his last ten games.

Antonio Conte who succeeded in keeping all his players together this season, still has his heart on all his players interest. Ahead of the game against Stoke City at Stamford Bridge, Conte responded on Friday to reports of linking Courtios away from the Bridge.

"It is not important to clarify the situation about Thibaut.

"He is for me one of the best, if not the best goalkeeper in the world. He is working very well and he is a fantastic goalkeeper.

"He stays with us and this is the most important thing. The other situation is only speculation.

"This season he's playing very well, and you can see that he's not only very good with his hands, but also with his feet.

"Yes, I think he's a complete goalkeeper. He's a model goalkeeper."

The Belgian has been on fine form this season, and contributed immensely to the success of Chelsea's 12 match winning streak so far, conceding just two goals in the process.
