Shu Yuhui, the executive owner of Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian has set sight of sealing a move for Uruguayan forward Edison Cavani, even before making the approach for Chelsea's striker Diego Costa.
Shu Yuhui has become increasing concerned for sealing a move for a prolific striker, and Diego Costa and Edison Cavani has been labelled top target for the club.
Shu Yuhui spoke out during his meeting with Diego Costa's agent Jorge Mendes, whom he invited over to China for a potential move of Diego Costa to China. The 28 year old Costa has a deal with Chelsea till 2019 and Chelsea are not willing to part ways with their star striker half way through the season. Shu Yuhui speaking out he said:
'PSG told us (Edinson) Cavani would only be allowed to leave in June, even though the player himself was willing to join us. The same can be said for Costa because Chelsea would only let him leave in June.
'However, the new season of CSL will almost reach the halfway stage in June, we can't wait so long.’
