A Nigerian legal practitioner, Balogun together with his learned colleagues were involved in a terrible accident on their way to the Court of appeal in Akure.
Fortunately for him, he survived the accident that killed four other passengers while several others were seriously injured.
The legal practitioner took to social media to thank God for sparing his life and those of his colleagues. He however regretted the painful death of the other 4 passengers on board in a Peugeot car.
He wrote thus:

Crusader of Justice using this medium to sincerely appreciate d protection of God upon my soul, 11th January, 2017 remained an unforgettable day in the history of my life cum legal profession as God narrowly escaped my soul and my learned colleagues that drove his Toyota sequel along mine around IPETU-IJESA on our way going to the Court of Appeal Akure.
Whilst we pray for the death of four souls inside Peugeot 406 to rest in perfect peace and also the quick recovery for the survivals.
We call on the Federal Government to do the needful as the road in question has become an ever busy one and thus deserved a dualization.
May I in the same vein, sincerely appreciate the prompt intervention of the federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC) in Ipetu-Ijesa command. Kudos to them!
