Prince Thomas Abi Jr is a frontline social commentator that has been on the vanguard of standing up to the government of Cross River State especially as it borders on payment of benefits to retirees. Hear him out:
*Our retirees are suffering. They need their pensions and gratuity to take care of their health. Some are on medication. They are old and need their entitlements to live a happy and simple life. They are not asking for a favour from the government of CRS, they are asking for their right.
It is a pity that we have to allow our aged parents to demonstrate on the streets before they get their pay. Allowing old people to cry is wickedness. These people are placing curses on those causing them this pain and their families.
It is murderous on the part of government to allow them die for 28 have already died as reported by Cross River Watch.
Since we think it is good to make another man cry, God will be the judge.
Please Governor Ayade pay our retirees their pensions and gratuity. They are angry, and unhappy.
