At the yesterday Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by Vice President Yemi Osibanjo the Federal Government has approved the construction of Aba-Ikot Ekpene-Odukpani-Calabar Road to Julius Berger at the whooping sum of N54 billion NegroidHaven can say.
According to BabaTunde Fashola Nigeria's Minister of Power, Works and Housing the road constructed over forty years ago is due for reconstruction, noting that the work will help reduce the cost of doing business as well as reduce travel time in the south south region of the country.
The road which appeared in the 2015 budget was finally awarded today.
