Ayade’s aide, Dr Betta Edu, honoured by UN SMART ambassador & Nigerian Youth for Politics and Good Governance

Director General of Cross River State Primary healthcare development Agency, Dr Betta Edu, over the week received two prominent awards from two different organizations "UN Smart Ambassador, DICIDE Smarter Lives (Sustainable Development Goals)"  and Nigerian Youth for Politics and Good Governance NegroidHaven has learnt. 
Dr Edu was awarded as UN Smart Ambassador for DICIDE Smarter Lives Africa a diligent care for creative intelligence development in special consultative status with United Nations ECOSOC in recognition of outstanding contributions as a visionary change maker, towards inclusive society inline with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Meanwhile earlier today in her office, she was also given an award of excellence by a group of youth for good governance in the State who found her worthy as the first political appointee in the state to received the honour.
Speaking, the leader of the group, Mr Julius Kijuo, said the organization was really disturb by the rate of growing insecurity in the state as the discovered that this anti-social vices is influenced by hard drugs taken by the youth of today. He said part of their visit is not just to confer an award  but to solicit for partnership with the Agency to fight drug abuse in the State by carrying out sensitization exercise across the State.
Dr Betta Edu while responding lauded the youth organization for choosing to fight drug abuse in the State even as she urged them to first, strategize to achieve the target of reducing drug abuse in Cross River State by mobilizing people in the communities and seeking fruitful collaborations. The DG assured them that already there is a machinery on ground to make the project a success. 
The DG reminded them that today Cross River State have a youth friendly Governor who is very passionate about youth development and empowerment. 
Let's forget about politics and do the work because it the good work that will pave way for greater better things in our lives. She pleaded her support to the not too young to run bill.
