The Federal Government has responded to the calls by concerned Crossriverians on the urgent need to rehabilitate the CALABAR-ODUKPANI highway which now serve as a dead trap to motorists and residents.
Assistant Director of the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing supervising the project, Engr Bassey Nsentip, said the Minister approved emergency repairs and they had to swing into action immediately.
He assured that with a clear whether, the road will be fixed in no distance time.
Collectively, we did it. We sustained the advocacy on national dailies, on television, radio and the social media. I am happy that our efforts were not in vain. I must not fail to commend Ifere Paul, Imani MumZoe Joseph Odok and others for the dynamic role they played, I salute you guys.
