The Comrade Bassey Williams-led Executive Council of the Post-Graduate Students Government (PGSG) of the University of Calabar, Calabar (UNICAL), Thursday, was qslammed an indefinite suspension by the Nwuyi Okori Sam-Uket-presided Senate of PGSG UNICAL, Thursday, NegroidHaven can report authoritatively.
The 15-member Senate of PGSG UNICAL summarily arrived at this decision at exactly 6:58PM local time at the PGSG Common Lounge, Ali Monguno Republic, University of Calabar in the course of its plenary.

This suspension was to determine the alleged misappropriation of N1.2 million and ‘disappearance’ of N500,000 from the 6000873861(?) Heritage Bank account of PGSG, UNICAL by Comr Williams EXCO.
Recall that NegroidHaven reported about the N1.7 million financial scandal blighting the Comr Williams presidency of PGSG, UNICAL elected on 12th July and inaugurated on 2nd August 2017 http://www.negroidhaven.org/2017/08/unical-post-graduate-students-govt.html?m=1
A 3-man Senate Adhoc Committee comprising Okii James(Chair), Mark Abuo, Akan Ime was constituted to determine the alleged misappropriation and embezzlement of the sum of N1.7 million.

However, it should be noted that while some members of the PGSG Senate sought to give the Okii James Adhoc Committee of the Senate a period of 14 days to conduct its inquiry and submit its report an anonymous principal member of the Senate contended that it’s incongruous to suspend the EXCO indefinitely to determine the allegations against the EXCO and then give the committee a definite time —they should work indefinitely.
