28 September 2017
Cross River State is on a self extinction mission and this isn't conspiracy theories, this is real.
The social, economic and political gaps is too overbearing. There must be balance of its people before the state can witness peace.
Cross Riverians should wake up and identify those things and phenomenon that enslave them, rather than turn against themselves. Only through this reflection will true empowerment be possible.
Cross River State is in dire need of Empathy and Love to dispel the darkness hovering over the state. Stakeholders, particularly the De-Mandate Advocate group, AriseCross River group, office of the Citizens, Cross River State and other regional economic leagues and bodies must rise to the occasion of the NOW.
CSOs and other organisations is turning a blind eye to poverty, sufferings, looming wars in Odukpani, Boki, Bakassi, insurrection in Calabar South, Akpabuyo, Akamkpa, Yakurr, etc., and the deprivation and marginalization issues recorded on a daily basis, a lot of appointees and House of Assembly members are becoming liable, culpable and responsible for the huge lack of social injustice and abrupt inequalities.
Cross Riverians must rise from their slumber and act now before our state eventually burn. The Tsunami of pile up of causative agitations is brewing, day and night. If we don't act NOW, a phenomenon worse than colonialism and post-Colonialism is underway.
The urgency of the NOW is expedient to keep Cross River tight, secured and impenetrable.
The Youth components of the state must at their various communities and organizational levels begin to engage themselves, to develop actionable concepts towards converting aspirations to realities.
As young people, we can set forth and be prepared at dawn to raising the hope, peace and prosperity of Cross River State.
Sincerely,
Comrade E. E. Ambo (MNSN, MBpSN, MNIFST)
Director General, De-Mandate Advocate Group
