Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has cancelled his proposed trip to Calabar to flag off the first dry-run of the 2017 Calabar Carnival. The minister will be represented at the event by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry.
The release also directed all federal government owned media in Calabar to ensure a comprehensive coverage of the event.
The release, however listed the agencies to include, NAN, FRCN, VON, NTA and federal information.
The first dry-run run of the Migration-themed Carnival Calabar is taking place Sunday 22 October 2017.
