Sequel to the arrest of suspects of the failed assassination of acclaimed social change agent, Joseph Odok Esq., Ph.D, the later, Tuesday, bore his mind over what appears as a tilt towards justice. Read him out:
Police From Force Headquarter Arrives Abuja with Suspects to my Assassination Attack in the persons of Raphael Odu and Patience Odey
'Justice seems to be on my way as suspected culprits to assassination attack arrives Abuja.
'I was attacked on the 4th of September 2017 by Raphael Odu, Patience Odey, Chris Abang in league with 3 known assassins brought and taken back by Raphael Odu after my attack.
'Upon my attack, Patience Odey was immediately arrested in the scene of the crime and taken for interrogation by the DSS. After a thorough and painstaking investigations by the DSS, CRS Command, Patience Odey confessed that he was planted by her lover one Raphael Odu to set me up and bring me for the attack on a promise of marriage.
'The case was later transferred to the Cross River State Police Command. Upon transfer of the case file to the Cross River State Police command; information from the Cross River State police Command has it that agents of the Cross River State Government in the persons of Chief Security Adviser to the Government of Cross River State Mr. Jude Ngaji and the Chief of Staff to the Governor Mr. Martin Orim pressured the Commissioner of Police to release the suspects on bail and stop investigation on the matter. One Cross River State House of Assembly member allegedly stood as a surety to Mr. Raphael Odu while the PDP Publicity Secretary Mr. Omaga Odo allegedly stood in as surety Patience Odey
'Sensing compromise by the Cross River State police command, I consulted the legal services of B. V. Okangbe to petition the Cross River State police command in a petition titled "Complaints of Attempted Assassination of Dr. Joseph Odok by one Raphael Odu, Patience Odey, Kris Abang in league with 3 known Gang of Hired Assassins: An Appeal for immediate intervention and take over of the matter from the Cross River State Police Command".
'The petition was approved and men from Force Headquarters were mobilized to Cross River State to take over the case file and suspects. The men arrived Calabar on Thursday the 27 of October 2017. They were due to return with the suspects on Saturday but were told that the suspects were not available. Sureties to the suspects were invited for interview and mandated to produce the suspects on Monday. There was however efforts to discourage the men from the force headquarters with a promise to bring the suspects to Abuja, this was rejected.
'Early this morning, a jeep with tinted glass was secured by Maxwell Etta a man that have stood firm with me and have been part of all the process of the petition till date. Maxwell who has been a rallying point for APC support positioned himself in force Headquarters to confirm the arrival of Raphael Odu and Patience Odey with a team of journalist. The police however prevented the journalist from taking any picture suggesting that they are tired
'We shall leave no stone unturned till justice is done'.
Is the arrest of Odu, etc by officers of the Force Headquarters of the Nigerian Police not a negative blight on the Cross River Command of the Nigerian Police under Commissioner of Police Hafiz M. I.? Hmmm!
