It has been confirmed that
Dr. Jonathan Chimakonam Okeke, a a senior lecturer at the University of Calabar has finally united in matrimony to his heart throb in far away Imo State.
Prior to this time, Negroidhaven garnered during a phone conversation with the erudite scholar on the night of 14th of December, that he (Dr.Jonathan) would be consumating his traditional marriage rites and ceremony in the African way and that it would be done in the witness of close friends and family.
When asked about why this ceremony was not "noised abroad", his reply was that it tallies with his philosophy of life as a Conservativist.
To those who are not very familiar with this encyclopedia of a person, Dr. Chimakonam, J.O is the Convenor of the most reputed Conversational School of Philosophy, CSP.
An astute reader and philosopher per excellence, a world class philosopher and researcher whose teaching and research interests include Logic, African Philosophy, Comparative/intercultural philosophy, Ethics, Philosophy of Maths, Bioethics, Philosophy of Mind and Postmodern thought.
Amongst other things,his articles have appeared in journals such as Ultimate Reality and Meaning, Confluence, Journal of World Philosophies, South African Journal of Philosophy, Thought and Practice, African Studies Quarterly, Ufahamu, Online Journal of Health Ethics, Journal of Pan African Studies, Phronimon, Polylog, Filosofia Theoretica, Philosophia Africana, etc.

He is also the convener of the professional African Philosophy body, The Conversational School of Philosophy (CSP) and the founding editor of Filosofia Theoretica: Journal of African Philosophy, Culture and Religions.
Dr. Jonathan is no stranger to world intellectual circle, little wonder why

He is also credited as an African philosophy Area Editor in the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy.
His accomplishment are unequalled, The University of Johannesburg, South Africa has this to say about him: "…He propounded the theories of Conversational thinking and Ezumezu Logic. He is Postgraduate and Undergraduate External Examiner to University of the Witwatersrand and University of Pretoria both in South Africa.
He is currently collaborating on different book projects with Chinese, Zimbabwean and South African colleagues.
Chimakonam has given several international conference lectures around the world. He is a member of a good number of professional philosophical bodies."
