Minister of the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs (MNDA) has come under fire for inviting Nigerians to a church service. The news is that he used the official letterhead of the MNDA which he superintends over dated 22 December 2017 with reference number : MNDA/HM/04/III/346.
What follows is a cross section of Nigerians who have frowned at the move. Popular lawyer has said that Usani has floured the principle of separation of 'church and state', that's, distinguishing the secular from the religious.

Since this man became a minister in this cabinet there is no list of Buhari's worst ministers that have come out from the media or individuals that he has not featured prominently.
Usani Usani has topped the list of ministers the President has been advised to sack many times. Just google and you will see what I'm talking about.
So the fact that he is incompetent, uneventful, lackluster and impact-less is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf. Because he is a minister from Cross River State, I have always hoped he will turn a new leaf and start living up to expectation.
But no. It seems we are cursed with this uninspiring character as a minister at a time when we are in dire need of all the inspiration we can get.
And somewhere in the minister's mind, he thinks he is the Pastor of Niger Delta Ministry and that the ministry is a branch of his church. So, here we see his audacity in using the Ministry's letterhead to invite people for a church program.
That's how they deceive us. They fail in their responsibilities and then ask us to pray for God to bless us. They ask us to pray for God to grant us safe journey on bad roads they have refused to repair, to give us light, to give us water, to give us fuel, to give us life… They ask us to pray…
