One person has been confirmed dead, four houses burnt in Bafin community as fresh oil palm estate crisis brews up in Boki LGA NegroidHaven has learnt.

According to a source the village head of Bafin Etimtim, simply identified as Chief T. O. C. was shot dead. This tussle for the economic soul of Boki is said to revolve around the pro-Government group and the pro-Iron group.
It's been alleged that the pro-government group of the Hon. Mactomy Agan and Barr. Tina Banku Agbor SSG attacked the pro-Iron group. The pro-Iron group are currently in occupation of the estate and have began a process of negotiation to include all land lord communities and gain legitimacy over the estate. The pro-government group  still desirous of occupying the estate resisted the pro-Iron group group in Bafin Etimtim and burnt their houses. The Pro Iron group gave a reprisal attack that led to the death of Chief T. O. C and the shooting of another.
After resisting the government from entering the Borum Estate and the series of crisis, the Ayade government have not made any effort at peace but his SSG has rather continued to gather boys to resist the continued occupation of the estate by the pro-Iron group, the source continued.
The pro-Iron group have acquired so much guns that they are well equipped to resist the pro-government group.
BLOGGERTORIAL
The foremost responsibility of government is the protection of lives and property. I see the incumbent government of Prof. Ben Ayade failing in this regard in Boki particularly where it's becoming a recurrent decimal.
