The 8th Cross River State House of Assembly is currently considering the Cross River State Grazing ( Prohibition) Bill for Second Reading. Subsequently, a public hearing will hold too.
According to the Speaker, Rt. Hon. John Gaul Lebo, the Bill is sponsored by Hon Regina Anyogo representing Yala 1 State Constituency.
Also, the recent supreme court judgment over Bakassi is anticipated to be considered in this seating.
The communal crisis in Inyimma, Yakurr is being be deliberated upon. Hon Eteng Jones Williams of Yakurr II has said the state government should wade into the matter since its becoming recurrent.
