Unconfirmed reports reaching our news desk suggests very strongly that Nigeria's anti-corruption agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC is set to invite the management of State College of Education (COE) Akamkpa over the mismanagement of TETFUND NegroidHaven can say.
The scandal revolves around a N100, 000, 000 in which some academic staff are said to have received the academic funds for foreign international conferences/seminars in Europe, Asia and North America but refused to go while faking conference certificates, hotel bills receipts and flight tickets, etc. Some are said to have collected the academic fund for a record second time for foreign post graduate certificates without even leaving the shores of the country.
This seems to be a setback to the academic institution as she is preparing to receive another tranche of TETFUND amounting to the tune of N100, 000, 000.
More details about this development will be communicated accordingly.
