His words, 'On Saturday 21st July, 2018 we rescued a girl we suspect has been abused and left to die. She was dumped at stadium by Oando filling. When we received to call, we met her unconscious.
'We called the Police and we took her to General Hospital. They refused to attend to her. After over 40 minutes of no attention, we took her to Police clinic where she was again rejected. Finally we settled for the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital. The doctors quickly commenced treatment to revive her. I visited everyday to replace her supplies and get update on how she's doing.
'Two days ago she showed signs of gaining consciousness. We where hopeful that in no time, she will gain consciousness and tell us what happened to her.
'Till now we never got the opportunity to know her name or what happened to her. We don't know her family and we had put out word for anyone missing a family member to contact us. She passed on on Saturday 28th July, 2018.'
The body of the girl has been kept in a mogue hasn't been properly identified, such that her family can't be contacted —she didn't make it to even tell her story.
