A passionate and strong contender for the soul of Cross River state, come 2019, High Chief (Prof.) Eyo Etim Nyong has felicitated with the Cross River Muslim community on the occasion of the 2018 Eid- El Kabir NegroidHaven has confirmed.
The APC gubernatorial hopeful advised Musilim faithfuls to use the period and pray for the peace and well being of the nation as well as the administration and life of President Muhammadu Buhari.
He enjoined them to imbibe the spirit of love, obedience, sacrifice and sharing which are the embodiment of the Eid-El Kabir celebration and the principle of Islam.
This was contained in a Sallah message signed by the gubernatorial aspirant’s media team, where the Professor charged Muslims and Nigerians alike to keep faith with the present administration and be ready to experience progress in the country in the years ahead as the current challenges facing the nation will soon be a thing of the past.
The former Niger Delta Commissioner appreciated the peaceful nature and ambience they have exhumed all through their stay in the state as this clearly shows that they have made Cross River state their home.
He used the opportunity to urge them to demonstrate strong patriotic spirit as they register and collect their PVC as well as vote a candidate that will ensure they continue to have a sense of belonging and better welfare in the state. Urging them to join hands with him to rebuild Cross River State.
