Mr Peter Agbe Odey the incumbent Honourable Member representing Ogoja State Constituency at the 8th Cross River State House of Assembly, CRSHA, Thursday, was returned as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the just concluded PDP Primary Election for for State Houses of Assembly NegroidHaven has confirmed.
Hon Odey scores 96 votes against Hon Rita Agbo Ayim the erstwhile Chair of Ogoja Local Government Area who had 3 votes and Emmanuel Elom who had 1 votes.
A constituent by name, Richmond Alfred has said concerning the victory thus: '… Hon Peter has given the good people of Ogoja a representation, he deserves a second tenure, the reward for good work is more work. Congrats to HON Peter Odey'. Mr Ikpen Ilefa also said, 'Congratulations Hon. This win is a prove of strength and doggedness.'
