Wabilly Nyiam floors Ray Morphy to emerge APC Senatorial candidate with 38,644 votes

Chief Wabilly Nyiam, Wednesday,  won the ticket to fly the flag of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2019 general elections to represent the people of Cross River North in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria NegroidHaven has confirmed. 
Chief Nyiam scored 38,644 votes against Chief Ray Ugba Morphy who scored 9,743 to so selected. 
Chief Nyiam has expressed his gratitude to the people of the Cross River North for the demonstration of love he has received so far and promised not to let his people down if elected in 2019. 
He said the people of the North must look beyond party affiliation and vote for him massively for the growth and development of the region. 
He further stated that what was paramount was to give Cross River North a new hope and place in history and give the region national reckoning by attracting projects to the people and uniting the people of the North irrespective of party or groups. 
Chief Nyiam commended his rival Chief Ray Ugba Morphy for vying for the race describing him as a statesman and called on him to support him to win the elections in 2019. 
Speaking further, he said his victory is a victory for the weak, oppressed, old, young , poor rich and all and sundry and called on the people to march with him to the Senate in 2019.
Nyiam will be slugging it out with Rose Oko of the PDP.
