Hon Emmanuel Ibeshi, former gubernatorial aspirant in the just concluded primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has slammed and joined the PDP, Cross River Governor Ben Ayade and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in a law suit with reference number: FHC/ABJ/CS/1268/2018 and dated 31st October 2018  NEGROIDHAVEN can report authoritatively. The writ is coming from an Abuja High Court.
According to the document cited by our correspondent, Hon Ibeshi who is making twelve claims/endorsements as follows including: that his disqualification by the PDP from contesting the gubernatorial primary was a breach of his constitutional right to fair hearing; that his disqualification was a breach of the electoral guidelines, and party constitution by INEC; that his disqualification was a negation of contractual agreement between the former and the PDP; that Ayade’s emergence as PDP’s candidates was illegal; and the list of claims continues.
Ibeshi is therefore requesting that an order by the court nullifies the Cross River State PDP guber primary which  held on the 29th September 2018 as null, void and unconstitutional; that the said order sets aside the disqualification of the former and initiates a proper conduct of the guber primary; and that Ayade be restrained from parading as the state PDP guber candidate because of the flawed process.

However, the writ has captured an alternative to the previous declarations being a demand for the sum of one billion Naira from INEC for breaching his constitutional rights, one hundred and ninety-four million for purchases of forms and other expenses, and five hundred million Naira for breach of contractual agreement.
The alternative also demands the sum of five hundred million Naira from Ayade for inducing INEC against Ibeshi in respect of breaching the latter’s rights and contractual agreement. The demands total of two billion and ninety-four million Naira (N2, 194, 000, 000).
Ibeshi’s counsel is Godwin EcheAdole Esq of Godwin Adole and Co.
It will be recalled that the PDP conducted its CRS guber primary on 29th September this year in circumstances that are still controversial. Ayade was the only sole aspirant. Others were disqualified. The same sham characterised other elective offices.
