Two of Gov Ben Ayade’s principal aides, namely the Honourable Commissioners for Information and Cultural Orientation, and Finance, Mrs Rosemary Archibong and Mr Asuquo Ekpenyong Jnr respectively were reportedly said to have compromised the electoral process yesterday’s presidential and national assembly elections.
The Commissioner for Information was reported to have used the Nigerian police to intimidate the electorates and members of opposition, Peoples Democratic Party at Atimbo West.
In Eniong Ward in Odukpani i-witness reports have it that crisis erupted as the ballot papers and ballot boxes were reported to be custodied in the apartment of the father of the Commissioner for Finance, Chief Asuquo Ekpenyong.
