ETUNG —With few minutes to 11AM, Saturday, the Cross River State Commissioner for Water Resources, Mr Gabriel Odu Oji was reportedly nabbed by security operatives NEGROIDHAVEN can say.
Report has it that he was arrested in his Prado Jeep in possession of a pistol, some ammunitions and millions of Naira. The arrest was led by the Commanding Officer of 245 Battalion in Ikom, Col Machintosh.
He was taken back to Etomi to allow him exercise his franchise but the vehicle was detained.
Again, two persons Nse Ogar Tawo (aka Atong) and Etek Ojong Okongor of the PDP have been arrested with arms & cartridges in Bendeghe Ekiem in Etung LGA. They are in the custody of the army.
