Rt. Hon. Joseph Archibong Bassey the People’s Democratic Party, PDP House of Assembly candidate who vied to represent Calabar South II State Constituency has been re-elected NEGROIDHAVEN can say authoritatively.
Bassey popularly called Papa and who is the Deputy Speaker of the state House of Assembly polled 7,972 defeating his major contender in the All Progressives Congress, APC who inspired 4,041.
In Constituency 1 the PDP fared thus 9,941 while the APC grabbed 4,746 not obviously enough to represent the constituency at the 9th Cross River State House of Assembly.
