PRESS RELEASE: YDP in C/River disowns own guber candidate, Emmanuel Undie
Young Democratic Party, (YDP) Cross River State wish to appreciate all electorates who came out to vote in the just concluded States elections in Cross River State.
The elections is termed as a successful one and we appreciate mostly the members of our great party (YDP) as no issue of violence or casualty was reported.
The party through the State Chairman, Mr Dunamis Archibong and the entire executive members of the State Working Committee hereby release this statement as reports reaching the SWC reads thus; That one Mr. EMMANUEL UNDIE who contested the governorship election under YDP without the knowledge of the state chairman, the state working committee and the entire members of the party have released a statement rejecting the results of the just Concluded States elections in the State.
The Party hereby call on all citizens of the state to disregard any statement rejecting the results of the just concluded States elections in Cross River under the party YDP.
This press statement is termed as a strong order to any one found guilty of any such act to disease from the act with immediate effect or face the law according to the party constitution.
The Party hereby advice as thus; That all candidates who were not satisfy with the outcome of the just concluded state elections should as a matter of fact follow due process by consulting and reporting all grievances to the Party before any move is made or any action taken in accordance with Party constitution.
The Party hereby call on all both party members and the general public to please adhere strictly to this publication.
