PRESS RELEASE: I'd withdrawn my suit in the Fed High Court in the interest of the Party —Ibeshi

The attention of Hon Emmanuel Ibeshi has been drawn to a story circulating on print and social media to the effect that a Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos on Wednesday 6th of March, 2019 sacked His Excellency, Governor Benedict Ayade as the PDP Gubernatorial candidate for Cross River State for the March 9, 2019 Gubernatorial elections and replaced him with Hon Emmanuel Ibeshi.
Hon Emmanuel Ibeshi had actually instituted a suit at a Federal High Court in Abuja to challenge the decision of the PDP to withdraw his clearance to contest the PDP Gubernatorial primaries against HE Gov Ben Ayade but had also withdrawn the suit soon afterwards in the interest of the Party and Brotherhood, and has since been doing all he can to help Gov Ben Ayade deliver the dividends of democracy to the good people of Cross River State.
Hon Emmanuel Ibeshi believes that the said story is the handiwork of the opposition in CRS and hereby wishes to urge the electorate and numerous supporters of HE Gov Ben Ayade to disregard the said story in its entirety.
