SDP’s Eyo Ekpo leads PDP’s Ben Ayade and APC’s John Owan-Enoh in online poll

The Social Democratic Party, SDP in Cross River State is currently leading the People's Democratic Party, PDP as well as the All Progressives Congress, APC in an online poll hosted on PINPOLL by newswebsite, CrossRiverTimes.
The SDP has scored 47.16%, followed by the PDP which scored 31.7%, leaving the APC to trail behind with 21.14%.
According to the poll website, the online poll recorded 634 votes, and 2000 views, that is, visitors who saw the poll. Consequently, Eyo Ekpo the governorship candidate of the SDP scored 299 votes, whilst Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade of the PDP had 201 votes as Sen. John Owan-Enoh lagged behind with a paltry 134 votes.
With this development, the popularity of the SDP in the state and political acceptability of the flagbearer, Mr Eyo Ekpo seem to be appreciated by the day especially as 9th March, the day for the gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections approaches.
Concerning Eyo, he has said that if elected into office, he will use the FRESH Approach to govern the state. According to him, 'Our Campaign promise is focused on having a FRESH Approach to doing things in Cross River State. Functional Government  –restoring  institutional integrity to government. 
Redevelopment –of physical and social infrastructure. Economic restructuring  – refocusing commitment to making Cross River a viable business destination and its people employable and employed Security  –addressing key public safety concerns including cultism, communal clashes and crime prevention, investigation and prosecution. And Hospitality –re-establishing brand Cross River to encourage tourism and promote arts, culture and heritage.'
