A yet-to-be identified teenage boy between the ages of fifteen and seventeen years has just been yanked off by heavy flood in the ongoing rain in Calabar NEGROIDHAVEN can say authoritatively.
According to a source, the incident occurred at a section of the capital city called Ekorinim at the culvert by the Judges quarters.
The affected boy is said to have been playing football with his contemporaries when their ball was kicked into the drain. As he went for the ball, he could not make it out.
The statement of the source reads in part, 'There (sic) where playing football and the ball fell inside the water and trying (sic) to retrieve it he fell inside and all attempt to find him and and rescue him has proven abortive… Sad moments, let government ensure all massive culverts are covered to avert a recurrence.'
