For what? An unjust law? To serve what purpose? Oh heavens!
Michael saw that he was helpless from the beginning, he saw his four children starving to death if he does not go hawking to feed them. He saw his young and pretty wife complaining and eventually leaving him should he not afford and or provide basics'.
Michael took the pains, ready to pay the debt he owes his 4 children and pretty wife on daily basis: he launched to the streets, hawking to eke sums for basics' atleast. See what he met in the hands of those who ordinarily should protect and provide for him and his nuclear family.
I have never done any epistle criticizing the government of Sen. Ayade even when the unjust and senseless law against street hawking was promulgated by a conglomerate of mediocre in the name of state Assembly. I have been mute on several other issues until this inhumanity and carnage is here.
Ayade (and his government) is governor because he is mortal and not mortal because he is governor. He is not at liberty to take the life of anyone because he is governor. Maybe his memory is too short to recall that those same worthless lives were called to queue to his benefit not too long ago. Now he pays Michael and his weak family in a coin too bitter to swallow in a haste.
Come to think of it, is the Department of Public Transport an agency to enforce laws? What is even the law? An unjust law?
It is trite law that unjust law is no law (and must not be obeyed) hence the Latin maxim "lex injusta, non est lex". Who made the law, to govern who? What's all these for God's sake?
And they ended his life abruptly. Without trial in the court of law or even a Tribunal set up by same cannibals. Cross River State Government killed Michael mercilessly.
They drove to him, seized his wares and threw into their van. He pleaded for mercy yet they refused to listen to him. They attempted to move but before then he was in front of the van pleading in continuum. But they heartlessly hit him, crushed his bones and drained his blood.
Everyone is scared, the government of Cross River state is stronger, it has a right to take life as it pleases. Michael is helpless, now dead. Here is the real victim, Michael's pretty young wife who is left with little or nothing, but the task/burden of fending for 4 little children, much more helpless than Michael right now.
From what source? Which source exactly? From the paltry N500,000 the fraudulent, insensitive, inhuman, untruthful and cannibalistic government will part with to record 500million in the books? God forbid!
They killed him. They prepared very well before they killed him and the DOPT boss -Godwin Inyiam must shot up! The gruesome murder of Michael is not "an accident"…
Now we shall rise for him even in death.
It's me,
Akwaji Henry Esq
