A socio-political group by the name Cross River Redemption Movement has charged the Federal Government to confirm the appointment of Dr Ekpe Esien Ekpe as substantive medical director of Federal Psychiatric Hospital Calabar.
This disposition was communicated yesterday through her president Chief Necus Ntaji in a press statement made available to our correspondent.
The movement argued that Dr Ekpe is a 'thorough bred professional in the specialised field of medicine with a prerequisite qualification as a fellow'.
They added that Dr Ekpe has the relevant cognate experience to man the office of MD of the facility.
