The former Honourable Commissioner for Tourism, Cross River State, Eric Anderson, has effected corrections to a badly written press release which went viral yesterday NEGROIDHAVEN has confirmed. The corrections bother on 'taxforce' and 'residence' which were corrected to 'taskforce' and 'residents'.
Anderson had appended his signature as Chair of CRSG Taskforce on Refuse Evacuation and Cleanliness on a poorly worded release cited by our correspondent yesterday (click: https://www.negroidhaven.org/2019/06/eric-andersons-tax-force-under-fire-for.html?m=1) but when the errors were spotted by the public he responded swiftly by making corrections.
The incident has polarised social media users in Cross River cyberspace.
It will be recalled that on 21st June 2017, the former Secretary to the State Government, SSG Tina Banku Agbor made a similar mistake which invited public opprobrium; click: 'ON PATRIOTIC' or 'UNPATRIOTIC': SSG, Barr. Tina Agbor goofs while addressing organised labour|DOCUMENT
