C/River Police Command confirms shooting of officer by unknown gunmen, doctors protest to CRSHA

The Nigerian Police Command in Cross River State has confirmed the shooting of one of her officer by unknown gunmen in Calabar the state capital city NEGROIDHAVEN can say authoritatively. 
The Police confirmed the incident  through her Police Public Relations Officer PPRO Irene DSP Ugbo who after confirming the development said, '… But, we don't know whether thru are armed robbers or they are cultists. We thank God that our personnel is safe and is receiving treatment. Meanwhile, investigations will commence on that issue.'

An unidentified Policeman, actually a Traffic Warden, Thursday morning was shot by two suspected armed robbers while on duty at Etta Agbor by Delking Park in Calabar. The incident occurred an hour ago.
Meanwhile, members of the Nigerian Medical Association in Cross River who are currently on strike have protested to the Cross River State House of Assembly in respect of the kidnap of their member simply identified as Dr Marcus. 
The protest is led by her state Chair, Dr Agam Ayuk, the Secretary, Dr Ezoke Epoke and others.
