Illegally arrested and detained journalist Agba Jalingo who is the publisher of CrossRiverWatch, and popular critic of Governor Ben Ayade Saturday was taken to a government medical facility for treatment of an undisclosed ailment.
Recent photographs shows Jalingo undergoing medical treatment and laying in a hospital bed. He has just been returned to the detention facility of the Nigerian Police according to a credible source.
Recall that Jalingo wrote about the grand corruption in the Cross River State microfinance bank, for which he was invited for questioning on the 19th of August, 2019; Jalingo requested for a shift in date to the 26th of August, 2019, which the police agreed to and even shifted the date again to the 3rd of September, 2019. But, they stormed his apartment on Thursday, the 22nd of August, 2019 in Lagos to bundled him through road to Calabar from Lagos.
