2 October 2019 
1. He was arrested on Thursday 26th September at his residence in Abuja by the two police officers of SARS unit of the Nigerian Police who according to his wife had been trailing him for two weeks;
2. On Friday 27th September he was transported to Calabar, Cross River state through road in similar tortuous journey treatment like activist Agba Jalingo. He arrived the state capital the same day in the night;
3. He is being detained by the anticult unit of the Nigerian Police at the Cultural Centre detention facility in Calabar;
4. He was charged with 'terrorism' according to his lawyer Oliver Osang who said the charge was frivolous. Osang claims the state government is suspectedly principally involved with the case;
5. Guest have been refused from meeting with him;
6. Odok has been on detention for 6 days today.
Odok is a prominent critic of Governor Benedict Ayade of Cross River State who's almost assassinated over two years ago. He left Calabar for Abuja where he's been with his wife and children.
